Zenaida needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
Zenaida lost an espresso machine and grinder to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $500 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For three years I have run a roadside café in Davao City. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $340
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $115
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Zenaida
Good news. Because of your gifts ($90 in total) I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
