After bullying at school, Zakaria has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at the Luxor Counselling Collective cost $20 each.
Zakaria has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Zakaria could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
