Zainab wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
Zainab, 77, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,550 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 77. After a diagnosis of dementia Zainab can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Zainab desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Zainab worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $1,550
• Medication and prescriptions: $470
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $300
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $230
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
