Zainab's emergency hernia repair can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled emergency hernia repair in July is out of reach without help covering $1,000 of the cost.

Zainab was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in April. The surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,650, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Luke Hospital since April. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,650 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Zainab struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Zainab won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $470
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $290
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Physiotherapy sessions: $60
• Travel and lodging for the family: $55
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending strength, Ibrahim. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I hope July is when things finally get easier. Love from Seongnam
Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends
Thanks for sharing this, Ibrahim. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Lagos.
