Yong-jun lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Busan General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,950.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Yong-jun could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $230
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• First-year servicing plan: $215
