Yolanda needs a soldering station and testing tools to reopen a phone repair counter
A phone repair counter in Coyoacán needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a fire in the building.
🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico706 views
For fifteen years I have run a phone repair counter in Coyoacán. In August, a fire in the building took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $520
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $260
• Shop repairs and licensing: $130
• Working capital for the first month: $240
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Coyoacán.
