Ye-eun lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Seoul Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,150. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Ye-eun could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $2,150 goes: • pair of hearing aids: $1,650 • Fitting and training sessions: $200 • Delivery and set-up: $55 • First-year servicing plan: $245 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
