Yaw needs my pickup repaired to get back to work in Accra
Without my pickup Yaw can't work; a $250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $150
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $50
• Towing and inspection: $30
With deep gratitude,
Yaw

Sending good thoughts, Yaw. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Accra.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Yaw.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. radiator and cooling system replacement (parts) comes first ($150) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
Keep going, Yaw. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
Best of luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Albany
Hope things get better soon. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Accra.
thinking of you, Yaw. Your post was clear and honest.
