Yard rescue for Zoé, 92: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Paris: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Paris for 47 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone, Zoé. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope October is when things finally get easier
