Yard rescue for Yaw, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Obuasi: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Obuasi for 20 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family, Yaw. I hope things turn around soon.
You're not alone, Yaw. Your post was clear and honest.
Thanks for sharing this, Yaw. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
Best of luck, Yaw. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together.
