Yard rescue for William, 74: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Bronx: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States945 views
I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Bronx for 40 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.
