Yard rescue for Walker, 82: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Walker's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in Manchester for 37 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck, Walker. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
You're not alone, Walker. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 26 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Hope it all works out, Walker. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Cairo
