Yard rescue for Utami, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Jakarta Selatan: bring gloves and a rake.
🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia1,020 views
I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Jakarta Selatan for 48 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
