Yard rescue for Shirley, 88: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in El Paso: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 El Paso, Texas, United States1,681 views
I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in El Paso for 32 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
