Yard rescue for Oren, 90: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Oren, 90, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Tel Aviv for 23 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

thanks for sharing this, Oren. I hope things turn around soon. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
