Yard rescue for Nkechi, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Nkechi, 72, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria127 views
I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Bonny for 27 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
