Yard rescue for Nicholas, 89: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Sheffield: bring gloves and a rake.
🇬🇧 S19 1BH, Sheffield, England, United Kingdom115 views
I'm 89 and I have lived in this house in Sheffield for 49 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

wishing Nicholas a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Bekasi.
Thinking of you and your family, Nicholas. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Quezon City donated after I showed her your page.
