Yard rescue for Naoki, 73: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Sakai: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Sakai for 40 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck. I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Sakai
