Yard rescue for Hugo, 91: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Hugo's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in San Diego for 29 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

thinking of you, Hugo. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless
Sending good thoughts, Hugo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Quetta.
Hang in there. Hope you get there. Thinking of San Diego.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in Entebbe but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
