Yard rescue for Harold, 72: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Harold's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in Sheffield for 29 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

take care, Harold. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Good luck, Harold. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 28 people at work.
