Yard rescue for Guadalupe, 71: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Guadalupe, 71, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Santa Fe for 50 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

Good luck, Guadalupe. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Rajkot.
Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Santa Fe
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Veracruz this morning. God bless

Hope the doctors have good news. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Santa Fe!

Keep going, Guadalupe. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
