Yard rescue for Dylan, 83: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Dylan, 83, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Ottawa for 41 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
