Yard rescue for Aaron, 73: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Aaron, 73, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Toronto for 24 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Toronto
Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless
