Wulan received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Wulan needs $400 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Jakarta.

When the call centre closed in May, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $400.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $400 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $30
• Late fees and court costs: $60
• Rent arrears (2 months): $310

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Wulan
Sure. The biggest one is utilities in arrears, $30. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
