Winter coats and boots for 6 children at Jacaranda Women's Shelter in Pittsburgh
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the first frost.

I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Women's Shelter in Pittsburgh. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Pittsburgh, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Women's Shelter on Thursday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Pittsburgh
