Winter coats and boots for 40 children at the Pioneer Mosque in Los Angeles
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the cold snap.

I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Mosque in Los Angeles. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Los Angeles, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Mosque on Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
