Winter coats and boots for 30 children at Acacia Refugee Centre in Pretoria
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Acacia Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Acacia Refugee Centre in Pretoria. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Pretoria, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Acacia Refugee Centre on Monday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Acacia Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there, Ahmed. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Kampala but we're thinking of you
