Winter coats and boots for 26 children at Sycamore Women's Shelter in Brandon

I coordinate donations at Sycamore Women's Shelter in Brandon. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Brandon, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Sycamore Women's Shelter on Friday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Sycamore Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
