I coordinate donations at the Liberty Family Centre in Sydney. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Sydney, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Family Centre on Tuesday between 10am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Take care, Christopher. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry!

    • Stay strong, Christopher. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Liverpool.
