I coordinate donations at Liberty Women's Shelter in São Paulo. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in São Paulo, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Women's Shelter on Wednesday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing you peace, Amanda. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend
take care, Amanda. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Thane.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Put this on a community board in Bangkok this morning. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Sending strength, Amanda. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
