I coordinate donations at Lotus Women's Shelter in Onitsha. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Onitsha, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Lotus Women's Shelter on Wednesday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Lotus Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Rabat

    • Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
