I coordinate donations at the Lotus Mosque in Marseille. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Marseille, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Mosque on Tuesday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Sent it to 32 people at work

    • hang in there. I hope things turn around soon.

      • Keep going, Sara. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

        • You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Amsterdam donated after I showed her your page. God bless.

          • Best of luck, Sara. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Paris
