Wilfredo needs a powered wheelchair - help us make it happen
Help Wilfredo get a powered wheelchair so He can attend work interviews.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Quezon City Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $800 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $720
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Hang in there, Wilfredo. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Take care!

Good luck, Wilfredo. Gave what I could, wish it was more
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Quezon City.
