Wildfire in Brampton: help the Lakeview district rebuild
Neighbors in the Lakeview district are rebuilding after the wildfire; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The wildfire hit the Lakeview district on 19 April. My home was one of 34 damaged, and 13 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $7,450 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,350
• Clean water and purification supplies: $1,000
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $930
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,500
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,670
If you're reading this, thank you.

Stay strong, Lydia. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
