Wiesbaden storm relief - Eastgate village
The storm damaged 55 homes in Eastgate village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit Eastgate village on 9 March. My home was one of 55 damaged, and 10 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $6,100 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,550
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,600
• Clean water and purification supplies: $780
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,170
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck, Frieda. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Pune
you're not alone, Frieda. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
