Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Saket
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Saket is running low just as demand rises; $250 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Friday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 100 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 37% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Saket market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $250 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $160
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
• Baby formula and diapers: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Pavithra
It's all in the list in the story. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) is the big one at $160, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Take care.
