Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Rabat
Nada runs a volunteer pantry feeding 340 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 340 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 53% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rabat market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $280
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $210
• Baby formula and diapers: $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $60
