Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Prayagraj
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Prayagraj is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 84 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Prayagraj market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $175
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $135
• Baby formula and diapers: $55
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

sending love, Myra. Your post was clear and honest. God bless
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Prayagraj!
