Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Miami
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Miami is running low just as demand rises; $2,950 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 122 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Miami market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $510
• Refrigeration and electricity: $145
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $2,295
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Great idea, hope you get there. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Love from Durgapur
Stay strong, Jocelyn. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Laval donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
