Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Bogotá
Héctor runs a volunteer pantry feeding 299 families; this fund restocks shelves for the harvest gap.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Thursday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 299 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bogotá market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $360
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $240
• Baby formula and diapers: $140
• Refrigeration and electricity: $110
Every share and every dollar helps.
