Weekly meals for neighbors in need in New Delhi
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in New Delhi is running low just as demand rises; $350 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 174 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 32% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the New Delhi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $195
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $100
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

38% there. I made the first payment toward fresh vegetables and fruit. Thank you.
Thank you all. We're at 35% now ($123). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward refrigeration and electricity.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 17% funded and the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled.

Stay strong, Nirali. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of New Delhi.
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Coyoacán donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of New Delhi
So sorry you're going through this, Nirali. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
