Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 19 families, and now we feed 197 each week. Donations have dropped by about 33% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Lahore market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $350 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $50 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $60 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240 Thanks for reading all this. - Junaid
