Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Khulna
Taslima runs a volunteer pantry feeding 110 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 29 families, and now we feed 110 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 35% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Khulna market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $40
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Baby formula and diapers: $70
