Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Dallas
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Dallas is running low just as demand rises; $2,650 will stock it for 12 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Thursday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 21 families, and now we feed 73 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Dallas market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $810
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,650
• Refrigeration and electricity: $190
If you're reading this, thank you.
