Nattaya runs a volunteer pantry feeding 69 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 69 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bangkok market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $320
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $250
• Baby formula and diapers: $75
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nattaya.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) comes first ($320) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
