Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Saket
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Saket is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Friday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 321 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 57% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Saket market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $190
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $95
• Baby formula and diapers: $110
• Refrigeration and electricity: $55

Thank you all. We're at 49% now ($221). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward baby formula and diapers.

Thank you. If you're in Saket I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks for asking.
Good luck, Ananya. This could happen to any of us.
