Weekly meals for families facing hunger in Rohini
The the Thursday Table pantry in Rohini is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of a community center. We started with 22 families, and now we feed 104 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rohini market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $100
• Refrigeration and electricity: $60
Thank you so much.
