Weekly meals for families and seniors in Southampton
Amelia runs a volunteer pantry feeding 256 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Thursday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 256 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 11 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Southampton market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $155
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,100
• Baby formula and diapers: $245
With deep gratitude,
Amelia

Sending good thoughts. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out.
hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares!
