Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Monday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 15 families, and now we feed 193 each week. Donations have dropped by about 53% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Embakasi market and keep every receipt. Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $650 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $330 • Baby formula and diapers: $150 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Rashidi

  1. Small update. $60 so far, the plan for baby formula and diapers is now scheduled. - Rashidi

  2. 15% there. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts. Thank you.
