Weekly meals for elderly neighbors in Wudil
Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Wudil.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 23 families, and now we feed 258 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Wudil market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $600 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $170
• Baby formula and diapers: $105
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $325
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
